Mark you calendar NOW for the end to Scripture & Spirits’ summer hiatus. This lively monthly gathering is focused on the intersection of spirituality, conversation, and delicious food and drinks. The location has changed – but the combination of spirituality, conversation, and delicious food and drinks is still the same! Third Grade Bible Retreat & Presentation

Overnight Retreat | September 19 – 20 | Lyle Lodge | $25 per child

Presentation of Bibles | September 21 | 11:00 am | Sanctuary Worship Service

Third grade is a special year in Children’s Ministry as we celebrate the milestone of gifting children with their very own Bible! This three-day experience begins with an overnight retreat where children learn the importance of using the Bible as a tool in their everyday lives, and will culminate with the special presentation of Bibles that Sunday in the sanctuary. Honoring Educators

Join FUMCFW in Honoring All Educators

Want to let your child’s teacher know how much you value them? FUMCFW will honor all active and retired public and private school educators during all worship services. Everyone in the congregation will also have the opportunity to stop by the Welcome Center from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm to purchase a special gift tumbler for $5 to take to your favorite educator! Let’s thank our educators across the Metroplex for ALL they do. Invite them to attend services on September 21, and take them this special gift from you and FUMCFW. Cowtown Brush Up

October 11 | 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

LIMITED SPACE — 20 volunteers total (15 youth and 5 adults)

Following the closing ceremony of the Carter Work Project, our FUMCFW Youth will join other local youth ministries in Cowtown Brush Up, which will give a new coat of paint to 50 Fort Worth homes. FUMCFW has 20 volunteer slots (15 for youth age 13 and up, 5 for adults). Click here to register!
