FUMC Day School

The First United Methodist Day School, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, operates from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. five days a week, with an option for Extended Care until 2:30 p.m. Your child will flourish in this hands-on, child-centered school. We have nurturing, experienced teachers in a loving and stimulating environment. Our focus is the whole child, including physical, social, emotional, verbal, intellectual, and artistic development. The school also offers a five-day-a-week Pre-K Bridge program.

The Parents’ Day Out Program is available three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for children ages three months to 23 months. This licensed program includes simple crafts, music, and play activities as appropriate. Parents can choose to use the program one, two or three days per week.
